In a post on his X-account, released in German on Friday, Esmaeil Baqaei attacked German Prime Minister Friedrich Merz to “consolidate his position on the wrong side of history by positioning himself as a stubborn supporter and apologizing for the attackers of the massacre.”
“If politicians ignore blatant acts of aggression and ignore violations of international law, that’s very embarrassing when they try to justify them,” adds Fukaei.
“When in 1945, heads of governments like Germany, carrying the legacy of Berlin, ignored “never again war” and supported Israeli attacks, war crimes and genocide, he is not only apart from the moral compass of history, but also violates the collective conscience of the German people,” an Iranian spokesman said.
“Iran will never forget those who once supplied chemical weapons to Saddam and those who praised him again today for violating international law. History is not easily forgotten, and the country’s memory is long,” Bakai said.
His comments came after German Prime Minister Mertz in a statement Tuesday claimed that the Israeli regime had “right to defend its existence and the security of its citizens.”
The Zionist regime fought a war of attack on Iran on June 13th. It has launched airstrikes on nuclear, military and residential sites in Iran, winning over 600 people, including the finest military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians.
The Iranian forces immediately began a counterattack. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Aerospace Force implemented 22 waves of retaliatory missiles against the Zionist regime as part of Operation True Promise III, which caused significant losses to cities across the occupying territories.
The battle was suspended due to a ceasefire that came into effect on June 24th.
