Mr. Mohammad Ali Dehgan Dehnabi, Director-General of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) and Deputy Minister of Industry of Iran, who led an Iranian delegation to Oman, met and held discussions with Qais Mohamed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of Oman in Muscat.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized holding a joint committee and business meeting in Tehran to showcase Oman’s investment opportunities and accelerating the implementation of the preferential trade agreement previously signed between the two countries.
The discussion of issues related to the two related ministries of Iran and Oman, such as the issue of industrial commissions and the draft proposal for the establishment of industrial commissions, was also taken up at the meeting and was an agenda item agreed upon by both officials. According to a TPOI official who accompanied Dehghan Dehnavi, both sides are also expected to sign the minutes of a memorandum of understanding for the establishment of an industrial committee.
