Tehran Symphony Orchestra (TSO) held by Tehran – Nasir Heydarian will hold a concert in October 1904 at Vahdat Hall in Tehran on September 11th and 12th.
At the concert, the orchestra will perform works by Austrian Bohemian romantic composer Gustav Mahler, Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and German composer and pianist Robert Schumann.
The repertoire includes Mahler’s Symphony No. 5, Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto of the Major, and Schumann’s Symphony of Spring.
Mahler wrote “Symphony No. 5” between 1901 and 1902. However, the film premiered in October 1904. Therefore, the name “October 1904” was chosen as the upcoming Symphony Orchestra Concert.

Over the next few years, conductors such as Rubik (Ruben) Gregorian, Morteza Hannane, Heymo Teuber, Heshmato Sanjali, Farhad Meshkat and Ferredun Nasseri took over as conductors of the orchestra.
TSO, which performed works by acclaimed Iranian and international composers, held over 20 concerts at Vahdat Hall last year.
