TEHRAN – The International Conference on Resistance Diplomacy was held in Tehran on Sunday to commemorate the martial anniversary of former President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdrahian.
The event brought together families of fallen leaders, senior officials from the 13th and 14th administrations, Cabinet ministers and heads of Iran’s executive and judicial departments.
When meeting at the summit hall, Hojatres Ram Mustafarostami, the leader of the Iranian University representative of the Islamic Revolution, said that the late President Reisi “embodied tireless devotion and humility” as certain factions were trying to create gaps between the people and the authorities. He emphasized the late Laisi’s deep and constant commitment to the cause of resistance.
Additionally, Jamille Alamoluhoda, the wife of the late President Resi, called on officials in the 14th administration to continue to commit to the principles of the Islamic Republic. On behalf of the martyr’s family, she urged them to “defend the independence of the Islamic Republic with strength and determination.”
Truth must be a measure: President Pezeschkian
Iran’s new president, Masoud Pezeshkian, gave a keynote address calling for principled leadership. “We must not unfairly pursue our factions, wealth, ethnicity, or status. We must be based on truth.”
He paid tribute to the late Raisi and Amir Abdrahian, saying, “These public service martyrs give life for justice and for the people, and are in deep mourning for the country and the Muslim world.”

Hamas official Osama Hamdan praised both martyrs for the international roles, declaring that “Palestine is a daily concern for martyrs Reishi,” and that “his diplomacy at the United Nations is the defense of Islam that brings the voice of Umma to the world.”
He added that Amir-Abdollahian acted shortly after the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, successfully framing the surgery as a legitimate form of resistance in opposition to US interference. “He gave new meaning to diplomacy,” Hamdan pointed out.
He also declared that the defeat of the Zionist regime in the first and second phases of the “True Promise” mission proved its vulnerability.
The martyr died for a cause – we must support it: Attorney General Ejay
The Attorney Hojatres Ram Golamassain Moseni Ejay, reflecting on the legacy of martialists, asked, “Why do we respect martialists?” His answer: “Understanding the cause they gave their lives and continuing along their paths.”
He criticized the West, and in particular the United States, for manipulating international law to justify its crime. “Rog haughty power depicts the defense of innocent people as illegal and justifies their own support for criminals. This hypocrisy must be exposed,” he said.
