BEIRUT – The visit of Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s highest national security council, coincided with a redrawing of a new map of West Asia, as announced by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Netanyahu spoke about establishing a “great Israel” Talmud project so that “chosen people” can return to the “promised land.”
The Israeli Prime Minister has promised colonial settlers that he will not witness “third destruction,” claiming that “states” including Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and much of Egypt, will last for many years.
Amidst these illegal and unprecedented threats from Israel, Larijani visited Baghdad and Beirut to confirm Iran’s principled position. The Iranian security chief made this position clear during a meeting with Lebanese officials.
During his interaction in Lebanon, Larijani emphasized that Iran will help the region stand up and fight against Israel’s new occupational plan supported by Washington. Many believe the plan will encourage Israel to resume attacks on Iran.
The Iranian envoy highlighted Iran’s absolute support for all resistance movements in the region, and emphasized that Lebanon would not allow him to fall into the normalization trap of “Abraham.”
Larijani stressed that resistance is a strategic force in the region, and warned that Washington aims to turn Lebanon into a battlefield for civil conflict with Hezbollah by leveraging US envoy Thomas Barrack.
Reports show that Riyadh and Washington have been heavily mobilized to gather as much information as possible about Larijani’s discussion with Lebanese officials regarding Hezbollah. He emphasized that resistance would not remain vulnerable to quarantine or attack.
Thus, the visit of Larijani served as a warning to those who entertained the illusion about dismantling resistance. His stance was echoed by Said Abdul Malik al-Hauc, leader of Yemen’s Ansarlah movement. He said, “We have confirmed that Lebanon’s biggest interest is lying to the Resistance Project.
“Lebanon’s official policy is subordinate to Israel and follows its directions,” said Al-Houthi. He further criticized the Lebanese government’s double standards of dealing with foreign envoys. “The Lebanese government’s hypersensitivity to expressions of solidarity with Lebanon condemns those who support intervention military and politically, and responds to bold rebellion, which humiliates in the face of humiliating attacks and inflammation.”
He also denounced the anti-resistance fact, saying: Dealing directly with them, he said: “You who submit to Israel will direct and enforce them against your own people – you are not sovereign.”
Al Hoti added: “The foolish, ungrateful, traitors mislead people by framing the issue as weapons of the free and honorable citizens of the nation. True sovereignty lies in those who defend their homeland and resist the invaders.”
Yemeni’s stance reinforced Larijani’s message that Lebanese will not be abandoned like the Palestinians. The Iran-Yemen location indicates potential material support if the situation requires it.
Such a principled stance is not surprising. Teren and Sanaa have never conspired like many Arab and Islamic regimes who remain silent or continue to conspire in the face of Israeli expansionism. These regimes should know that the hegemonic ambitions of the Israeli Talmud show no mercy to them, and in the end none of them spare!
