TEHRAN – The 11th Islamic Revolution Art Week was held on Wednesday at the sacred temple of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the tomb of martian Morteza Avini, with the presence of cultural officials and artists.
During the ceremony, music groups performed, flowers were placed on the martian’s graves, and portraits of the martian were presented.
Seyyed Ali Mirfattah, creator of Martyr Avini portrait, made the following statement at the event:
He added, “I was going to start a series of portraits called the ‘wall of faith’. I imagine that I will paint the faces of all people who have rights to me, and that I will paint the faces of people who are in debt, especially those of modern times as we know them.
“We are deeply grateful and grateful to all martians, but Martian Morteza Avini has played a particularly important role in many of our thinking, work and lives,” he said.
Following the announcement of Martyr Avini’s portrait, Mostafa Mohaddesi Khorasani, a well-known poet of the Islamic Revolution, recited the ghazar, which he composed for his audience on the day of the martial arts of Seyd Morteza Avini.
As part of the opening ceremony, numerous cultural officials and artists from the Arts Bureau gathered at the sacred temple of Imam Khomeini (RA) to renew their commitment to the ideals of Imam and revolution.
Art Week is held annually by the Art Bureau, an Islamic Ideology Promotion Organization, and commemorates the martial anniversary of documentarian Morteza Avini.
Art exhibitions, workshops and theatre music performances will be held this week.
