Beirut – The US Spiden (embassy) in Beirut has concluded a so-called “Thread of Hope” exhibition featuring 68 artworks by Lebanese artists over a year.
In the presence of Lebanon’s Minister of Culture, Gassan Salamem, US Ambassador Lisa Johnson said:
Shamelessly, Johnson used the term “Age of Conflict” to obscure the reality of the US-led Israeli extinction war since October 7, 2023.
The rebellious Lebanese artist expressed his gratitude to the ambassador for “generous” hospitality, praised the imperialists, presented his work to colonial courts, and ignored the tragic reality created by American criminal machinery!
Their contributions were described by Johnson as “healing”!
All art sponsored by the American embassy is nauseous as it covers colonial hegemony policies. Vulgar art that begs Johnson for praise and gratitude!
The exhibition is certainly nothing more than a waste of authentic art. It replaces it with decadent art that does not reflect the true identity of Lebanon, which has resisted American imperialism since the 1980s.
Meanwhile, MP Hassan Fadrara, a member of the Resistance Congress’ loyalty to the Bloc, said “If the enemy fails on the ground, it relies on political pressure led by the United States.”
In a service ceremony for martial teachers of tire resistance, Said Fadrara pointed out that “there is a Lebanese voice working for this pressure and responds to a sustained Israeli attack by raising the induction of resistance.”
MP Sayyed Hassan Fadlallah recalled four priorities that the Lebanese government must address before discussing its defence strategy. It is as follows: Expels the occupation from the South. Release all prisoners held by the enemy. Reconstruct what the Israelite enemy has destroyed.
Furthermore, Hezbollah expressed his sadness at the deaths of the Catholic Pope Jorge Mario Bergolio and Pope Francis.
Hezbollah embodies the Pope’s “explicit position to call for the end of Israel’s invasion of the Gaza Strip, until the last moments of his life, that his condemnation of the massacre is being committed against the Palestinian people, his demands for humanitarian aid, his official recognition of the Palestinian state, his regular support and his regular support for the Palestinian cause, and his regular support against him and his regular support against it, and his regular support against it, embody the integrity of his call and his commitment to the human values that reject injustice everywhere.”
Hezbollah called on Lebanese of all denominations and backgrounds to remember Pope Francis’ words.
