The conflict between Palestinian resistance forces and Israeli occupation forces continued on Sunday east of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip, as confirmed by Palestinian media and correspondents from Al Mayaden.
Witnesses reported seeing Israeli helicopters transporting wounded soldiers from the battlefield, indicating significant losses during the ongoing conflict.
Hamas military unit, the Izz Ad-Din Al-Qassam brigade, has announced that its fighter planes have targeted Israeli military bulldozers near the Yarmuk site in the Al-Manara district south of Khan Younis.
In a statement issued Sunday, Hamas declared, “Resistance is fighting a war of attrition in response to genocide against civilians, renewing tactics on the ground and surprises the enemy every day.”
The Palestinian resistance stressed that the “Israel” escalating military campaign “will only deepen its losses and push prisoners further into the unknown.” Hamas reiterated that “through a comprehensive agreement, there is no solution except for a pathway that Netanyahu continues to reject.”
Dismissing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s rhetoric of “absolute victory” as a “misleading fantasy,” Hamas declared that “Netanyahu sought to be endlessly responsible,” warning that his claim to extend his aggression would “put a mark” to ultimately end his political and personal career.
These statements follow reports by Israeli media that 12 Israeli soldiers have evacuated from Khan Eunice in southern Gaza after buildings trapped in booby that exploded during the operation.
Most of the injured personnel are reportedly members of elite military forces.
Israeli media reported that the incident was first hidden, while another conflict broke out in the northern Gaza Strip, where a gunfight exchange was reported.
