TEHRAN – Major General Ali Abdulhai, newly appointed commander of Iran’s Qatam al-Ambiya Central Headquarters, confirmed that the country’s troops are “more prepared” and asserted that they have strengthened capabilities following the recent 12-day conflict between Israel and the United States.
Abdulahhi was appointed by the leaders of the Islamic Revolution. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in Israeli strikes in Israeli territory in June after the martial teaching of Major General Gram Ali Rashid and his successor Major General Ali Shadmani.
The Khatam al-Anbiya central headquarters serves as a unified order for Iranian military forces.
Abdulah stressed that Iranian troops are in a stronger position than before the conflict with Israel.
He reassured the public and emphasized that Iranian military is ready to protect the national sovereignty, security and achievements of the Islamic Revolution.
“The military is always fully prepared to protect the sovereignty of the nation, national security and the outcomes of the Islamic revolution,” Abdlahi said.
The 12-day war began on June 13, when Israel launched a massive attack on Iran, killing at least 1,064 people, including military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians. The US subsequently carried out airstrikes at three Iranian nuclear facilities. This is an action that has been widely condemned as a violation of international law.
Iran responded with a series of retaliatory operations targeting both Israeli and the US interests, effectively halting the conflict by June 24th.
