Speaking at a ceremony commemorating National Firefighters’ Day on Monday, President Masuud Pezeshkian said the enemy wanted to increase sanctions and let Iran kneel from them, but he emphasized that it wasn’t their dream.
He emphasized that his administration will do what he can to bring honor and pride to the country. “We will do our best to solve problems and do everything we can to serve people.”
Pezeschkian pointed to the Gaza catastrophe, criticizing European countries and the Washington administration for falsely claiming that they remained indifferent to the Gaza Strip genocide campaign and were human rights defenders.
“These human rights, this UN and this UNESCO, are all just lies, because innocent people are killed right in front of their eyes and Israel is attacking the nation they want without paying prices,” the president said.
He continued to emphasize maintaining unity in the face of hostility from the enemy as a way to tackle the problem.
