Beijing – A group of foreign journalists participating in a media exchange program hosted by the China International Press Communications Centre (CIPCC) are visiting Hainan Province.
The journalists toured the prominent civil aviation maintenance-based headquarters in Haiku, the capital of the Haiku River, and participated in discussions with facility officials about its achievements.
Hainan Free Trade Port’s One-Stop Aircraft Maintenance Industry Based Director and General Manager highlighted the results by speaking to the visiting media squad.
Wang Haiye has announced that the industrial facility has secured a contract with a major international airline for maintenance work. She emphasized that the company offers not only excellent quality, but also more cost-effective maintenance services than its competitors’ maintenance services. Officials said airlines using services from Chinese companies could save up to 60% on budgets.

Its aim is to establish a sophisticated and intelligent aircraft maintenance platform that caters to the global market.
In her remarks, Wang said that Hainan’s geographical location and tariff-free policy would make China’s most accessible destination for international travelers.
It is often called “Chinese Hawaii,” and Hainan is the southernmost island in China.
The state is known for its tropical climate, beautiful beaches and lush green landscapes. It becomes a popular tourist destination and attracts visitors with its resorts, sunny seas and cultural attractions.
In recent years, the Chinese government has been working to transform Hainan into an international tourism hub and free trade port.
Through a week-long visit to Kainan. International journalists participating in the CIPCC programme will take part in press conferences and important events to gain direct insight into the progress of China’s island.
Journalists are also offered unique opportunities to participate in the Asian Boer Forum (BFA) Annual Conference 2025. This year’s meeting will be held in Boao from March 25th to 28th with “Asia in a Changing World: Towards a Shared Future.”
