Tehran – The International Academy of Restoration of Historical Monuments was launched at the Daffine Museum in Tehran with the participation of the museum’s CEO, Hamidreza Soleimani.
Speaking at the inauguration, he said the first Academy of Education had been launched at Tehran’s historic Automobile Museum. He also added that one academy has been released at Yazd’s “Tar-O-Pud” museum, meaning “Warp and Weft,” Mehr News Agency reported.
“Today, it is the third academy we have launched to restore historic artefacts with the cooperation of the International Council of Museums (ICOM). We hope that a good path continues.”
He states: “This academy was our implementation department and was a missing link that could include public services. This academy requires specialized and concrete capabilities.”
The Sardar Asemani Museum of Culture Campus began operations in 1995 as the Daffiné Museum. He then continued his work as the Tehran Culture Museum in 2017 after various strategic changes and the integration of the Iranian Money Museum, the Iranian Historical Automobile Museum and the Time Museum. campus. Currently, the campus includes three museums: World Art and Islamic Art, antique gems and jewels, and Iran.
