Major General Mohamed Pakpour of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) conveyed a message of condolences and solidarity to Brigadier General Yousef Hassan al-Madani, Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces, following the martyrdom of Major General Mohamed Abdul Karim al-Ghamali.
In his message, Mr. Pakpour asserted that Mr. Al-Ghamari’s martyrdom only strengthens the determination of Yemen’s steadfast and heroic people to confront regional enemies and continue to protect the oppressed people.
He emphasized that the struggle in Yemen is consistent with broader regional resistance and the pursuit of justice, particularly in support of the Palestinian people and the residents of Gaza.
The Revolutionary Guards commander emphasized that such sacrifices serve to strengthen the resolve to confront world imperialism and international Zionism. He reiterated the Islamic Republic’s full readiness to deepen strategic cooperation with the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) to confront common threats.
Earlier, the Yemeni army mourned the martyrdom of Major General al-Ghamali, saying it was a sacrifice made “on the road to al-Quds.” Military leaders declared that “Israel’s enemies will pay the price for their crimes.”
