TEHRAN – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) announced on Sunday that its aerospace forces had attacked an Israeli air base that was used to launch a “bold attack” on Iranian territory.
In a statement (Communiqué No. 9), the IRGC emphasized that these precise strikes were a direct response to the Zionist regime’s attacks on Iran’s sovereignty, signaling that “complex, multi-layered, progressive operations would continue mercilessly.”
The operation began Friday night after Israel launched attacks on Iran and other Iranian cities on senior IRGC commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians who were assassinated with Iran.
In the third phase of Operation True Promise III, which began late Sunday, the IRGC unleashed a coordinated missile, causing drones to crash deep into the occupying territory.
According to military sources, six strategic sites were hits, including:
– Tel Aviv’s Military and Intelligence Election Command Center.
– Haifa’s oil refineries, an important energy hub supplying the regime.
-Rafael Advanced Defense Systems facility produces iron domes.
The administration has imposed strict military censorship, but social media footage showed that ballistic missiles overwhelmed Israel’s air defense, bringing great accuracy and success to targets.
The strike caused a massive explosion in Haifa, destroying 61 structures alone in Tel Aviv’s flattened building, Batyam.
