In a statement commemorating Journalists’ Day on Wednesday, the IRGC said the journalists effectively reflect the truth of the Iranian state’s victory and great achievements over the hostile front.
It described the sincere, artistic and relentless efforts of media experts reporting on IRGC’s achievements and capabilities, serving people, from protecting revolution to serving people as a strategic move to strengthening the deterrence of the people.
The IRGC said the media community, which has a deep understanding of its important duty to provide people with realistic and true information, plays an important role in highlighting the strengths and advantages of the Iranian state, particularly with regard to the defensive and deterrent capabilities of the military.
Furthermore, the IRGC pays homage to the memories, names and noble ideals of martyrs who exemplified Iran’s Islamic power, particularly focusing on media workers who lost their lives during the recent wars imposed on the country by the US and Israeli regimes.
The IRGC emphasized that perseverance of journalists and media experts in accurate reporting and clarification is essential to shaping true stories about current events and combating distortions and misinformation.
