The IRGC said in a statement that six missiles attacked Al-Udaid Air Force Base in Qatar on Monday night after VCITRY’s promise of a recovery operation.
The IRGC described this operation as destructive and powerful.
The Doha-based US base is located at the largest US base in the region.
It is reported that the number of missiles was proportional to the number of US bombs that fell at Iran’s nuclear centers yesterday.
The IRGC said the Iranian military is continuing to power and defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran trusts in Almighty God and relies on the faithful and glorious people of Islamic Iran to leave no unanswered attacks on the integrity, sovereignty and national security of its territory under any circumstances.”
Iran says the operation targets only US bases and emphasizes that it will continue to have a warm relationship with Qatar.
The Zionist regime has fought a war of attacks against Iran on June 13, shocking Iran’s military and nuclear sites, but the US launched military attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran early Sunday: Natanz, Fordau and Isfahan.
Iranian officials have since said Tehran reserves the right to resort to its own options for response to the US attack.
