TEHRAN – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Saturday declared that it is ready for peak and will result in a strong and “remorning” response to any act of aggression, emphasizing that its deterrent ability will exceed what the enemy could expect.
In a statement marking the anniversary of Kolamshaal’s liberation during the Iran-Iraq War of 1980-88, the IRGC reaffirmed its preparations to protect Iran’s sovereignty and respond decisively to the threat. Kolamshaal, southern Iran, was recaptured by Iraqi forces in 1982 at a turning point in the conflict.
“Inspired by the vision of the late Imam Khomeini and the sacrifices of Iranian martyrs and led by the leaders of Ayatollah Seiyed Ali Khamenei, the IRGC is fully equipped and ready,” the statement said. “Working closely with other branches of the military, we are ready to respond to enemy miscalculations.
The IRGC emphasized that its defensive attitude spans all domains and operational preparation is constantly being upgraded.
Beyond traditional threats, the statement elicited similarities between past military victories and Iran’s current capabilities to prioritize today’s complex geopolitical and hybrid warfare environments. “Iranian youth can draw strength from the Holamshaal model of resistance and face and overcome today’s multifaceted challenges,” he said.
The statement also warned Israel and the United States, declaring that regional nations and “Islamic soldiers” would soon stand up to “Zionist corruption” and pave the way for wider peace and stability in West Asia.
“The era of invader immunity is over. Hostile actions are not only filled with force, but also change the balance of local power.
The IRGC reaffirmed its revolutionary spirit, adding that the same spirit that allowed Iran to resist international pressure and reclaim Kolamshaal has allowed the nation to move forward in all sectors, including defense, economy and culture.
“Unshakable perseverance allows Iran to achieve the impossible,” the statement concluded.
Iranian Artesh reaffirms that he is ready to defend his sovereignty
In a statement released on Saturday, the Islamic Republic Army (artesh) of Iran’s Islamic Republic has repeatedly made full preparations to protect the territorial integrity, independence and national security of the country, and declared that it will never fulfill the hostile ambitions of Iran’s sworn enemy.
“This historic day” said the statement “is a lasting reminder of courage and sacrifice that reflects God’s support in his victory, captured in timeless words of Imam Khomeini.”
“This victory was not merely a military interest,” the statement continued. “A powerful symbol of national pride and true victory over attacks. It served as a lasting deterrent, forcing Iran’s enemies to abandon the illusion of conquest.”
Looking back at today’s challenges, the Army said Iran continues to face external pressure and conspiracy aimed at weakening the Islamic system, but it is firmly set to be vigilant and respond.
