Global Sumud Flotilla announced that the two vessels are currently 366 nautical miles from Gaza and are expected to arrive within the next three to four days.
The fleet, currently made up of 44 ships, is set to enter a highly dangerous zone within the next two days. Sumud Flotilla’s leadership has repeatedly made a firm determination to reach Gaza, calling on people all over the world to be vigilant and express solidarity with the convoy.
Sumud Global Flotilla, which consists of more than 50 ships, set sail from Barcelona, Spain, in early September, on its mission to provide assistance to the Gaza people and break the blockade. Additional ships gradually joined the convoys from various regions around the world.
Despite the threat from the Israeli regime and efforts by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to prevent the fleet from reaching Gaza, all Sum ships are simultaneously moving towards their final destination.
He joined the global Sumud Flotilla, an Iranian convoy, to break the siege of Gaza and provide important humanitarian assistance to the Palestinians in Gaza.
