Tehran – Gohar Park, a tourism and entertainment complex reportedly ordered the largest variety of naming in West Asia, was launched in Shirjan, Karman province, southern Iran.
President Masuud Pezeskian officially launched Gohar Park when he visited Sirjan on Saturday morning.
The state-of-the-art complex, spanning 380,000 square meters, features a huge artificial lake, 92,000 square meters of water park, an indoor amusement park, luxurious accommodation, a variety of sports facilities and a zoo.
Developed with a 3 trillion Toman investment, Gohar Park is set to become the major tourism and leisure hub in southern Iran.
The state of Carman is like a culturally melting pot, and it blends the cultures of different regions over time. It also has a wealth of tourist attractions and historic sites, including bazaars, mosques, caravanseras and ancient urban ruins. The Carman is surrounded by Fars Province in the west, Yazd in the north, South Horasan in the north, Sistanbalkestan in the east, and Holmozgan in the south. It includes Dasht-e lut, the southern part of the desert of central Iran.
