In a post on his X account, the top Iranian diplomat wrote:
Iran is standing in the face of this illegal attack on urban housing used by Qatar and Palestinian brothers by civilian guests in Qatar, he added.
“We also express our sadness to the innocent Qatari citizens and Palestinian martialism in this sleazy attack.
He said the only way to deal with the recklessness of the Israeli regime is for the Islamic world to act together, adding that Iran is ready to deepen cooperation in combating threats to international peace and security.
Israel launched airstrikes against Qatar’s Hamas leaders on Tuesday, expanding military action that spans the Middle East to include the Persian Gulf states.
