At a ceremony on Tuesday’s visit to Bucher in southern Iran, Fadabi claimed that he was the first to suffer military retreat in the Persian Gulf region at the hands of a brave local commander in the 1980s.
“Over the past 40 years, we have witnessed the failures of the enemy of the revolution. American officials themselves have repeatedly acknowledged these set-offs,” he said.
Fadavi urged American officials to acknowledge the younger generation that the Persian Gulf has long been a place of defeat and that victory over the Resistance Front has not been secured.
He attributed this to the unshakable faith and resilience of the country, which remained entrusted to the Islamic Revolution for more than 40 years.
Over the past few weeks, US President Donald Trump has been making a controversial idea of renaming the Persian Gulf. He was reportedly scheduled to make an announcement during his state’s visit to Saudi Arabia last week, but in the end he failed to move forward with his plans.
