Pezeshkian shared it on his X account on Saturday after attending a funeral procession for Iranians who lost their lives during Israeli strikes in Iran.
He added, “We have learned from Imam Hussein (PBUH) that we never learned to succumb to oppression.”
Pezeschkian said, “To serve such noble and freedom-seeking people is the greatest honor of my life. Iran’s long Iran forever.”
The funeral procession for the Iranians who lost their lives on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Israel was held in the capital, Tehran, on June 28, 2025. Mourners gathered from Engelab Square to Azadi Square and chanted slogans against the Israeli Regim and the United States.
On June 13, the Israeli regime launched an unprovoked attack on Iran, raiding nuclear, military and civilian sites, killing more than 600 people, including commanders in chief, scientists and civilians.
