“We have reopened our embassy in Tehran after a temporary closure. The charges are in place and we will continue to play a full role in ensuring the safety of the British people of Iran,” he told Parliament.
The British Embassy previously announced that in response to the Zionist regime’s attack on Iran, its staff will be temporarily evacuated as a “precautionary measure” and that the embassy’s activities will continue directly.
Now, according to an official announcement from the UK Foreign Office, the country’s diplomats have returned to Tehran again, and the embassy has resumed its activities completely.
The Zionist regime fought a provocative war with Iran on June 13, clearly violating international law, the national sovereignty of Iran’s Islamic Republic, targeted areas in other cities, including Tehran and the state’s nuclear facilities, and areas targeting military attacks. Many nuclear scientists, senior military commanders and civilians were marched in the attack. Iran’s crushing response to the aggression forced the administration and its main supporter, the United States, to seek a ceasefire.
