Tehran – Dozens of countries held a three-day conference at the United Nations in New York, urging the world to work towards a solution for the 1967 border, the US, and two states between Israelis and Palestinians within Israel.
The 193-person General Assembly decided in September last year that such a conference would be held in 2025. The meeting was hosted by France and Saudi Arabia, but was postponed to June after Israel attacked Iran.
It was not unexpected that the US and Israel refused to attend the conference. It is clear that Israel does not want a Palestinian state. The United States also does not want a Palestinian state.
Israel wants the whole Palestine land. They work hard to drive Palestinians out of the Gaza Strip and the banks of the Jordan River. If anyone has doubts about Israel’s motives in this respect, the Gaza Genocide War and deliberate starvation, coupled with the expulsion of Palestinians from homes and farms on the Jordan River, erased the remaining uncertainty.
Extremist factions within Israel continue to reject the Palestinian state’s outlook, strengthened by their belief that they provide unwavering support in resisting international calls for Palestinian sovereignty.
Jeffrey Sachs, a professor at Columbia University and special advisor to the United Nations, says “Israel is dead” in Palestine.
“Now, the entire political rule of Israel is dead against it. Hundreds of thousands of illegal settlers on the West Bank are dead against it. Sumotrich, Ben Guville, Gallant and Netanyahu are dead against it.”
He says that the United States is the only one who opposes the creation of a Palestinian state.
“There is one country that prevents this from being imposed (establishing a Palestinian state in line with international law). It is for the United States of America, not Iran, not Saudi Arabia, not Egypt, not Russia, not Russia, not the European Union.”
Israel now calls the West Bank “Jews and Samaria.” Even in February 2025, Brian Mast, chairman of the US House Foreide Committee, ordered staff to use the Hebrew names Judea and Samaria on the West Bank.
If the US pressured Israel to respect its homeland rights in accordance with international law, the old Palestinian wounds would have been resolved.
Had the Palestinian state been established, there would not have been an attack on October 7th. Currently, ultra-Orthodox figures like Heritage Minister Amichey Eliyahu see the October 7 attack as a gift to Israel.
“The government is competing ahead to get Gaza wiped out…Thank God. We are wiping out this evil. We are pushing this population educated about the ‘main camp’,” Eliyahu said with delight in the shocking hunger of the Gazan people.
Internationally selected Israel and the United States have invented excuses to boycott the UN conference.
“We are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that we are pleased to announce that “The meeting deepens the illusion rather than promote solutions. Rather than demanding the release of hostages and working to dismantle Hamas’ terrorist rule, the conference organizers are engaged in discussions and plenary that are cut off from reality.”
A US State Department spokesman also described the event as “a gift for Hamas, which continues to reject the ceasefire proposal accepted by Israel that leads to the release of hostages and settles in Gaza.”
A State Department spokesman voted against the general meeting last year when Washington voted against the meeting, adding that he “does not support actions that risk the outlook for a long-term, peaceful resolution to the conflict.”
Both the Israeli ambassador and the US State Department spokesperson are openly forging the facts.
This is a disinformation campaign in which Hamas refused to propose a ceasefire. Hamas was sought to end the war, but Israel only wanted to release the prisoners of war, as they did in March, after resuming the war with Gaza for a while.
Contrary to the arguments of Ambassador Danone and the State Department spokesman, it is apartheid against the Palestinians and the occupation of their land that laid the foundation for all these disasters.
On April 18, 2024, the United States effectively stopped the UN from recognizing the Palestinian state by casting a veto on the Security Council to deny full membership in the world group.
The 193 people rejected a resolution that recommended that the UN “Palestine be hospitalized in membership.”
To mislead the world, U.N. Ambassador Robert Wood said, “The United Nations ambassador continues to strongly support the two states’ solutions. The recognition that this vote does not reflect opposition to the Palestinian state, but comes only from direct negotiations between the parties.”
It is open to everything that Israelis do not sit with Palestinians to discuss the creation of a Palestinian state, and this is something the United States fully recognizes. Israeli leaders, especially the hardliners, do not recognize the Palestinians who negotiate.
Given Wassington’s approach to Palestinian wounds over decades, the United States is an accomplice to the tragedy facing Palestinians, this time reaching an incredible stage: Gaza Massacre and Hunger.
