The US Navy has three strikes at Hodeida Airport in Yemen’s Red Seaport city, and five strikes in the Majzar district of Yemen’s central Malibu province on Saturday night, reported by Al Masila TV in Ansalallaran.
The report does not provide details on the casualties or damages caused by the attack, and according to China’s Daily Life, there is no comment yet from the US side.
Hodeida Airport has been closed to private flights since the Ansalala Group seized control of several northern cities, including the strategic city Hodeida. Airports were also a frequent target for previous US airstrikes.
Earlier on Saturday, Ansala said he had launched a sixth attack on the US Navy in the North Red Sea since March 15, launching several drones on warships escorting USS Harry S. Truman.
Ansalara also said it launched a ballistic missile attack on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, an attack that Israeli forces said was intercepted late Friday.
Tensions between Yemen’s Ansalala and the US military have escalated since Washington launched a new airstrike in Yemen on March 15th.
