Foreign Minister Abbas Araguchi says his latest trip to Tajikistan focused on expanding bilateral relations in various fields.
The Iranian foreign minister commented in an Instagram post on Friday, two days after he visited Doshanbe, Tajikistan’s capital.
During the day’s trip, the diplomats held separate consultations with President Emomali Ramon and Foreign Minister Sirozidin Muriddin.
“The consultation focused on deepening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across the economic, scientific, cultural and tourism sectors,” Araguchi said.
Emphasizing the unique cultural, civilized, linguistic and historical ties that the two countries share, Araguchi emphasized that these commonalities “provides a strong foundation for strengthening fraternal relations and strengthening comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
