Al Jazeera has so far said at least 42 people have been killed in the Israeli attack on Friday on citing sources from a local hospital.
The report said 33 of the victims were killed in Gaza city or elsewhere in northern Gaza, media reports.
Ambulance sources say one of them was killed in an apartment targeting the Sheikh Radwan area of Gaza city.
This comes as Israel is moving forward with plans to occupy the Gaza Strip, which begins with Gaza, the largest city in the territory.
Fourteen victims (all members of the same family) were killed in one attack in the Atwam area near Gaza City.
The United Nations Relief and Labor Bureau for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) warned that Gazan is trapped as “cannot go anywhere.”
“Families continue to face extreme conditions and rising food insecurity,” in a post on social media platform X on Friday, calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza “before it’s too late.”
Israel began a genocide war with Gaza from October 7, 2023, after Palestinian resistance fighters engaged in a surprising Al Aksa Storm operation against a decades of blood and destruction against the Palestinians.
Since March 2, the Israeli regime has sealed all border crossings, blocked the entry of humanitarian aid, further deepening Gaza’s already tragic humanitarian crisis.
The regime’s bloody onslaught in Gaza has killed more than 64,718 Palestinians, mostly women and children.
