TEHRAN – Massive demonstrations have exploded around the world as tens of thousands of people gathered in solidarity with Gaza and demanded an end to the massacre against the Palestinians.
Morocco witnessed one of the biggest coordinated protests in recent weeks, with 105 demonstrations being held in 58 cities.
Protesters expressed their anger at the ongoing attack on Gaza, strongly opposed any form of normalization or cooperation with Israel, and criticised the departure of ships from Moroccan ports to occupying territories in particular.
On Friday, a massive Berlin demonstration filled the streets of Berlin, with protesters calling for an immediate halt on Israeli military action in Gaza, denounced the international community’s inaction.
A similar scene unfolded in South Korea, where protesters condemned crimes and genocide committed by the Zionist regime.
In Ireland, public art has become a form of protest. An impressive mural emerged with an unforgettable message: “Tell your child the truth – what did you do when the children were burning in Gaza?” This image reflects the growing emotions across Europe that demanded moral accountability and political action.
Outside London’s Guardian Newspaper Headquarters, anti-war activists also protested against the outlet’s editorial stance on the war in Gaza, accusing them of failing to accurately reflect the biased reporting and the extent of Palestinian suffering.
In Spain, citizens gathered in major ports and major cities, demanding that the government immediately cease the shipment of arms to Israel. Protesters argued that Spain’s accomplices in the arms trade promote violence in Gaza.
These protests are part of a rising global wave of public dissent, indicating an increasing disconnect between public opinion and official policies regarding the war in Gaza, from U.S. university campuses to urban squares in Europe and North Africa.
