Tehran – Yemeni forces returned to Israel just 24 hours after the occupation regime launched an attack on the port city of Hodeida.
Yemeni Army spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that Yemeni forces have used two ballistic missiles to target Ben-Gurion airport in Tel Aviv.
He said one of the missiles was the Hi-Sonic Palestine-2 missile and the other was the Zulfical missile.
According to Surrey, one of the missiles struck the airport directly.
He emphasized that the strike “forced millions of occupyers to flee to shelter.”
Previously, air sirens were heard in dozens of villages across the occupied territories, including the occupied AL-QUDS (Jerusalem), the Tel Aviv region, and illegal settlements on the West Bank.
The alert sent thousands of settlers to bomb shelters and stopped air traffic at Israel’s Ben Gurion airport.
The Hebrew media branded one of the missiles launched from Yemen as unusual, saying, “As soon as you enter Israeli airspace, the missiles will be separated into several small warheads, requiring the launch of numerous air defense missiles to intercept the components.”
The US Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system interceptors attempted to rely on missiles that fell on the occupied West Bank alkaline (Hebron).
Israeli media confirmed that at least half a dozen interceptors must be launched to intercept one of the missiles, and Ben Gurion International Airport was temporarily suspended.
Mahdi al-Mashat, president of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, said Yemen’s response to Israeli invasion would come from “a different direction.”
He added, “Our strikes against the enemy will be intentional, effective, strategic and will maintain control over our military advantages and battlefield.”
Al Mashat also issued a warning to foreign embassies near the legitimate military targets of Yemeni forces in Tel Aviv. He urged them to force the Israeli government to move their mission to a safe distance to ensure their safety.
“I advise that the embassy be closed and evacuated to avoid danger from the enemy if the Israeli government fails to comply with this demand.”
He further said that foreign embassies within Israel’s territory could coordinate with Yemen’s foreign ministry in Sanaa to confirm that there are no military targets nearby.
Al-Mashat concluded that Sanaa would direct the foreign ministry to inform interested countries about the status of embassies within Israel’s territory.
This development comes as part of solidarity with Gaza and the ongoing Yemeni operation, reaffirming the attack deep in Israel’s territory, as long as the genocide against the Palestinians persists.
