In a statement, MFA confirmed that it has continued to deal with discussions and negotiations on nuclear issues as in the past.
In response to media inquiries regarding the management of nuclear incidents, the Ministry emphasized that “no change has been made in this regard.”
The statement has added that Iran’s Supreme National Security Council is still responsible for the decision on negotiations and coordination between organizations related to the negotiations.
JCPOA was signed in 2015 with Iran, the United Nations Security Council, and five permanent members in Germany. Former President Donald Trump has illegally withdrawn contracts in 2018, and the current U.S. President Joe Biden has been ready to revive the contract.
Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, China, the United States, and France have been revived in discussions with Iran since April 2021.
The consultation to save JCPOA began in April 2021 in the capital of Vienna, the capital of Austria.
