Rejecting US and Western pressure to limit Iran’s missile capabilities, Brigadier General Reza Talay Nik stressed that Iran’s security and national interests are on the red line and that foreign interference in the country’s defensive capabilities are unacceptable.
Talaei-nik pointed to US and Western claims and demands to reduce the scope of Iranian missiles to negotiate missile programs, and the spokesman added that national interests and safety are the basis of Iran’s missile capabilities and that foreign intervention to determine the country’s defense and safety capabilities is not possible.
He continued, maintaining defensive capabilities and achievements to combat potential threats is one of Iran’s national principles.
Interference by foreign forces in determining the power and strength of missiles that match the country’s defense needs would not be acceptable, Talay Nikh noted.
