Tehran – Iran’s commander-in-chief has repeatedly lacked full confidence in the Islamic Republic in the US and Israeli regime, confirming that the country remains fully prepared to respond decisively to new acts of aggression.
In a telephone conversation with Tajikistan’s defense minister, Lieutenant General Emomali Abdul Rahim Sobirzoda, Prime Minister of Iran’s military chief, Prime Minister Abdul Rahim Musavi, expressed his gratitude for Dushanbe’s continued support during Israel’s 12-day Israeli war with Iran.
General Musabi paid tribute to Major General Mohammad Bakeri, who had taught him during the Israeli attacks, noting that he had consistently prioritized defensive cooperation with Tajikistan. He emphasized the importance of deepening military relations between the two countries.
“Positive and effective measures have already been taken and I will continue along this same path,” he said.
Referring to the recent escalation, Musabi said that the enemy’s illegal actions failed to achieve their goals. “Despite 12 days of relentless and illegal attacks, the US and Zionist regimes were hit hard and ultimately forced to seek a ceasefire to maintain the occupying groups,” he said.
On June 13, Israel launched a shocking and provocative attack on Iran, targeting senior military officials, nuclear scientists and civilians for blatant violations of international law. On June 22, the US joined the conflict and launched airstrikes at Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordaw, Natanz and Isfahan. This is what Tehran deems a serious violation of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
Iran responded with a coordinated retaliatory strike on June 24, saying it had successfully halted a military campaign launched by both the Israeli regime and the United States.
“We have no faith in the commitments and assurances of Americans and Zionists,” Musabi emphasized. “We remain fully prepared to stand up to further aggression with firmness and determination.”
On his part, Defense Minister Tajik gave his sadness to Iran over its commander and civilian martialism when he described it as a war he was imposed on. He emphasizes the strong cultural, linguistic and historical ties shared between the two countries, calling it a relationship of fraternal love.
“The government and the people of Tajikistan are thinking of Iranian people not just friends but true brothers,” he said.
