TEHRAN – Three members of Iranian security forces were killed from injuries during a fierce confrontation with terrorists near the Pakistani border on Friday.
The attack targeted patrol units at the law enforcement headquarters in Iran (Farraja) in Chabahar County, according to a statement issued by the State Police Department.
The statement details that an armed outlaw ambushed a patrol unit on Friday afternoon and unleashed a shooting that seriously injured three officers.
The fallen personnel who were injured on Saturday morning were identified as Hossain Jafarnia, Abbas Bailakiferd and Hamidreza Mirshahi.
The martyrs included both drafters and official police officers. During the exchange of a severe fire, security forces reportedly killed one terrorist and seriously injured another.
