Three Palestinians were killed early Tuesday in a brutal Israeli raid on Jenin that involved an hours-long siege, armed clashes and airstrikes in the village of Kafr Quds in the northern West Bank, Al-Mayadeen news agency reported.
At dawn, Israeli occupation forces besieged the home of the family of martyr Tamer al-Nasharti, a resident of the Jenin refugee camp. The attack began with heavy gunfire and explosions, spreading panic in the area.
According to local sources cited by the National Media Center, occupation forces have deployed bulldozers and military vehicles to the Kafr Qud siege site. Armed clashes then broke out near the house and thick smoke could be seen billowing from the area.
As the dangerous situation escalated, Israeli warplanes launched two air strikes targeting the besieged house. Later, Israeli media claimed that the occupation force’s elite Yamam unit had assassinated two Palestinian resistance fighters with sniper fire, and that the Israeli Air Force had subsequently carried out additional airstrikes.
