Tehran – Tourist cars will gather at Abbas Mirza Park in Talis, East Azarbaijan for six days starting June 12th.
More than 200 campers and caravans from all over Iran will be gathering at the sixth national rally of Iranian tourist vehicles, Isna said.
The event, which aims to acclimate people to the camper van lifestyle and promotes an independent travel culture, will continue until June 17th
During gatherings with local officials and people interested in road travel, camper van safety and the need to standardize the equipment in these vehicles will be discussed. This is an important step to promoting safe travel in the form of van life.
Despite issues such as technical inspections, insurance and license plate replacement, travel with these vehicles is more popular in Iran.
During the meeting, participants will tour the city of Tabriz. They then parade in vehicles towards Jolfah, camping along the Aras River, and continue their travels to Kodafarin County.
