A dangerous incident occurred at the Ashlim Thermal Solar Power Plant in the Israeli town of Negev following abnormal technical malfunctions in the fuel system and surrounding industrial facilities.
The failure released dangerous and potentially deadly gases across the plant, which were released into areas near Ramat Negev.

Despite the 24 hours, residents reported in social and local media that the administration’s Department of Energy had not yet identified the cause of the malfunction.
Israeli government authorities continue to advise settlers to stay indoors.
The Ashalim facility, a hybrid power plant that combines heat and solar technology, experienced significant disruptions with its oil-based fuel system.
After nearly 36 hours of silence, the Department of Energy issued a public apology, saying settlers still have to “probably” avoid leaving their home.
