On Sunday evening (July 22nd), traditional Iranian music singer Homayon Shajalian released a song called “The World of Repression” on his personal page in Cyberspace.
Regarding this work, Shajarian said, “The ‘world of oppression’ has social and humanitarian themes. This work was born from the dust of a wounded soul.
“This story is the endless sadness of humans who are silent in the twists and turns of dead-end nights in the bloody nightmare of this world. It speaks of a world in which anger, ugliness, ignorance, selfishness replaces love, beauty and consciousness,” he added.
“The pages of human history change with black and white, filth and light, as if these two were ancient twins, one constantly dominant,” the singer pointed out.
Shajjalian dedicated his work to the noble and defenseless people of the world, saying, “The heart may not live except for love and beauty.”
Homayun, the son of late Iranian traditional singer Mohammad Reza Shajalian, is a traditional, crossover vocalist and Tomback player.
Israel’s criminal administration fought an unprovoked war with Iran on June 13th.
