The best national security council officials overseeing portfolios in the Middle East and Israeli and Iran are considered the pro-Israel voice of the administration — one of dozens of officials who were rejected on Friday in a widespread purge by the NSC, two sources familiar with the situation told Jewish insiders, according to the Israeli era.
Eric Tragar, a senior director in the Middle East and North Africa, is a leading Middle Eastern official and Israeli and Iranian director Merab Selen, a political appointee of the Trump administration, was pushed out by officials called “deep states” purges within the NSC.
Their shootings have led to more and more established scaffolding for the administration, with President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is also a national security adviser, restructuring and slimming major foreign policy-making bodies.
