Al Nacala emphasized that the announcement reflects “the Israeli position in the most accurate details,” and constituted “a recipe for the continued attack on the Palestinians.”
He warned that the proposal amounted to “an attempt to impose a new reality on the United States after the occupation failed to achieve them through consecutive wars.”
The Islamic jihad leader also warned that the so-called agreement is “pre-made recipes to ignite the entire region and promote further conflict.”
The White House presented the proposal Monday evening, saying that if both parties agreed to the proposal, the war would soon be over.
The mediation efforts led by Qatar and Egypt are continuing, and Hamas has not yet issued a formal stance, but it argues that resistance must address the underlying causes of wars, such as siege and occupation.
