Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) plans to invite leaders of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) countries to the summit – the website Axios for the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the US, said it was citing US civil servants and two Arab officials.
Trump will arrive in Saudi Arabia on May 13th to hold a bilateral meeting. The summit is scheduled for the morning of May 14th.
Currently, there are no plans to invite leaders from other Arab countries to the summit, but that could change, Arab officials told Axios.
After the summit, Trump travels to Doha for a meeting with the chief of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Al Thani. On May 15th, he visits Abu Dhabi and meets Mohamed Bin Zayed (MBZ) of Emirati.
The White House said official details of the trip will be released soon. The Saudi embassy in Washington declined to comment.
