The US president said after taking up the air force after closing his tour of the Persian Gulf on Friday, the Islamic Republic received alleged proposals from his administration, and that he warned about what Tehran has not paid attention to the urgency of his response.
“They have suggestions, and more importantly, they know they have to move quickly or do something bad.
Tehran has not yet commented on the alleged proposal.
Throughout his previous tenure as US president from 2017 to 2021, and in his ongoing incumbent, Trump rarely abandoned his hostile language regarding Iran.
He maintains the discourse, but since April the two countries have been engaged in indirect consultations.
Rhetoric has further exacerbated the development of the so-called “maximum pressure” campaign against Iran.
The campaign began under his previous presidency, and saw him take the US from the historic 2015 nuclear deal between the Islamic Republic and the world’s countries, reintroducing Washington’s sanctions on Iranian states, and even more forced economic measures.
However, Iranian authorities rejected the exception of Washington’s threatening approach and warned of conflict with diplomacy.
More recently, Foreign Minister Abbas Aragut has emphasized that Iran will not demolish any of its nuclear facilities.
The diplomat also asserted the rights of the nation to enrich uranium, saying, “To defend the rights of Iranian people in the nuclear sector, including enrichment, is one of these principles and rights of those who we do not compromise on.”
President Masuud Pezeskian also addressed the issue, saying that the threat would not work against the nation and that the Islamic Republic remains determined in pursuit of peaceful nuclear energy activities, national development and regional peace.
Tehran has also thoroughly urged the prospect of allowing nuclear issues and allowing issues other than eliminating US sanctions, such as the country’s defense and regional impact, turning it into a negotiable subject in the diplomatic process.
