The hackers got a personal number of Israel Katz and launched a video call.
Katz responded incorrectly before strolling around immediately, but not before the attackers caught and distributed screenshots of confused warm faces online, Caliber.az reported.
The minister’s phone number was later cut off.
The attack has been widely seen as retaliation for Katz’s August Post on Turkish social media, and issued a harsh message against President Recept Tayyip Erdogan, who sparked a storm of rage in Turkey.
Reports say one hacker was even able to humiliate Katz before Cole was shortened.

This is the latest in a series of cyber humiliations against senior Zionist regimes.
In August, former Justice Minister of Justice for Ayelet Shaked was reportedly violated after clicking a malicious link.
The attacker was able to fully access the device despite the advance warnings from security personnel.
Other cases target cultural figures.
Dozens of Israeli actors were deceived through a fishing scheme pose as auditions for a new film, according to a Jerusalem post.
The hackers requested a test video and personal documents containing a copy of their passport and an address.
