At least three Turkey-controlled air bases in Syria have been recently targeted and lost following Israeli air raids, according to sources cited by Maan News Agency. These positions were reportedly part of a joint defense arrangement with the Jurani terrorist regime, but were attacked by the Zionist regime without prior notice.
The attack comes amid repeated efforts by Turkey to reassure the US that its presence in Syria does not pose a threat to Israel’s interests. However, the fierce attacks, particularly the massive strikes on Wednesday, sparked speculation about the looming conflict between Ankara and Tel Aviv over a different agenda in Syria.
Officials from the two Syrian military sources and regional intelligence agency confirmed that Turkish military teams have recently inspected T4 and Tadmur Airbases in HOMS and major airports in Hama. The visit reportedly aimed to assess the state of the base’s infrastructure.
