The meeting at the Naval headquarters in the capital Ankara will be attended by representatives of foreign forces to discuss naval military plans to maintain a peaceful environment in the Black Sea, the ministry said in a statement on Sunday, the Anadolu Agency reported.
Without specifying which countries will be present, the ministry said there would be no Russian officials among foreign military representatives.
Türkiye continues to strive to end the Russian-Ukraine war, which began in February 2022.
Ankara is ready to urge Kiev and Moscow to end the fight through negotiations, ready for any initiative, including mediation, and lay the foundation for peace.
Türkiye first held a meeting between Russia and the foreign ministers of Ukrainian in the Mediterranean city of Antalya in March 2022.
These efforts led to a groundbreaking black seagrain deal in 2022, but Moscow has not extended its contract since July 2023, citing restrictions on Russian grain exports.
