Turkmenistan’s exclusive exhibition will be held for the first time in Iran, hosted by Golestan Province. This is a groundbreaking event that will allow for new gateways for joint trade and export opportunities between the two countries.
With its 45km border with Turkmenistan and its deep cultural, religious and linguistic ties, Golestan has long been an important hub for Iran’s economic diplomacy with Central Asia.
Three years ago, following the approval of the Golestan Free Trade Industry Zone, efforts to expand regional cooperation, particularly with Turkmenistan, have intensified.
In this connection, the first-ever exclusive exhibition in Turkmenistan, with the participation of 53 state-owned enterprises, is being held from May 5 to May 7, 2025 at the permanent location of the Golgan International Exhibition.
The event is expected to mark a turning point in bilateral economic diplomacy and pave the way for increased exports, foreign investment and wider cooperation between the two countries.
