Over the past month, she said her family has been forced to choose between showering, cleaning and cooking as access to water has deteriorated rapidly.
The vaccine is also gone, Russell warns, and the disease is spreading rapidly.
“Meltilization is also on the rise,” she said, adding that more than 9,000 children have been recognized since the start of the year to treat acute malnutrition.
