Speaking on Monday at the 39th International Conference of Islamic Union in Tehran, Pezeshkian said Muslims must act as “one hand” to protect their rights and prevent further atrocities.
“If Muslims are united and avoiding discord, Zionists will never be able to carry out such crimes in Gaza or in the region,” he pointed out.
He recalled that the Islamic prophet (pbuh) prioritized brotherhood and unity among tribes and communities, urging today’s followers to respond to their legacy.
“If we are truly a prophet believer, we must in unity and solidarity to allow the brutal Zionist regime to commit these crimes in front of the eyes of Muslims and the world,” Pezeschkian said.
He stressed that the real problem lies in the division between the Muslims themselves, not Israel or the United States.
“If the Islamic community unites, there is no power to encourage Muslim rights,” he added, emphasizing that unity is the only path to victory.
Pezeschkian also criticised the double standards in the West, saying that even the smallest actions in the Muslim community are distorted and labelled as a violation of human rights.
“They blame us for trampling on human rights, but their version of human rights does not spare children, women, or elderly people while committing genocide. They know nothing about humanity. But our own internal conflict remains a real problem.
The president added that the West declares oil and resources in Islamic countries, but at the same time will encourage division and conflict.
Emphasizing his government’s commitment to solidarity, he declared, “We will not argue with the Muslim country. With full determination, we are committed to unity and unity in the Islamic community.”
He confirmed that Muslims throughout the region were bound by fraternity and had pledged the Brotherhood of the Islamic Republic to “Iraqis, Palestinians, Egyptians and all Muslims in the Islamic world.”
“We pledge that we are not only acting, but also brotherly love. If this principle is truly accepted, neither America nor Israel will be able to successfully wing discord among Islamic society,” the Iranian president said.
Referring to the 12-day war that Israel and the United States fought against Iran, the president said their goals have failed because of Iran’s unity and resilience.
“Yes, we had missiles that slapped our enemies violently, powerful and brave fighters, but the strongest slaps came from the unity of the Muslim community.
Pezeshkian thanked Islamic countries for condemning Israel’s crimes, but emphasized that stronger and more united action is needed.
“It is a heavy responsibility for all of us, especially religious scholars, to bring dignity and honor to the Muslim community,” he added.
