TEHRAN – Iran’s attorney Hojatres Rolam Golamassain Moseni Ejay stressed that while the Islamic Republic maintains peaceful relations with all its neighbors, including those along with Israel, he warned that Tehran would take decisive action to resist a country caught up in Iran’s security.
During his official visit to Tehran, Seiyed Ammar Hakim, head of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement, met with Iran’s attorney, Hojatres Moseni Ejayi. At the meeting, Ejay highlighted the unshakable relationship between Tehran and Baghdad, noting that recent developments in the region indicate an enemy’s decision against the existence of a powerful and sophisticated Islam.
“Iran is not the initiator of war, and not the case, but it never submits to the domination of hegemonic forces or accepts the pressures imposed,” Ejay said. He cited Iran’s performance as evidence of the country’s growing resilience and regional influence during the recent 12-day conflict with Israel. “The invaders assumed that this conflict would cripple Iran, but our strength is fully on display and we are respected all over the world,” he added.
Ejay emphasized that Iran’s foreign policy is guided by dialogue supported by strength. “We are willing to hear others, and even our enemies, but we will not accept threats or forced demands. Our attitude is solid. He emphasized that unless these countries are involved in a conspiracy against Tehran, Iran maintains strong ties with all of its neighbouring countries, including those who are sometimes in line with hostile forces.
Hakim praised Iran’s role in the recent regional conflict, noting that the 12-day Israel attack failed to weaken the Islamic Republic and instead strengthened its leadership in West Asia. “The Zionist regime’s attacks confirm that Iran is correct to label Israel as the unstable forces of the region,” Hakim said. He also highlighted the historical, cultural and economic ties between Iran and Iraq, and the possibility of expanding bilateral cooperation.
The best national security council principals seek close ties with Iraq
Separately, Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, held a discussion with Hakim, focusing on strategic cooperation and regional stability. Larijani described Iraq as a strong and friendly neighbour and called for an expanded tangible and widespread bilateral cooperation in light of ongoing global development.
“In the current dynamic current situation, cooperation between Iran and Iraq needs to be more objective and concrete,” Larijani said, highlighting joint efforts to strengthen security and economic ties. Authorities also considered recent hostility, including Israel’s June 13 attack on Iran, which targeted senior commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians on June 22, and an attack on Iran against Iran, which targeted Iran.
Hakim described the Zionist regime’s aggressiveness as a miscalculation that ultimately strengthened Iran’s power and fame. He praised Iran’s response, including missile and drone strikes and true promises III of operations, leading to a one-sided ceasefire by Israel on June 24th.
Ammar Hakim pays homage to the late founder of the Islamic Republic
Hakim also visited and paid tribute to the spirit us of the late Imam Khomeini, founder of Iran’s Islamic Republic on Saturday. During the visit, Hakim also met Seyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the late leader.
After the visit, Hakim praised the solidarity that both Shiites and Sunni Muslims showed with Iran during the recent 12-day war with Israel. He said Muslims in the region have demonstrated that “Because of their deep-rooted hatred of the Zionist regime, they defend themselves against Israel and support a country that resists its invasion.”
Iraqi politicians stressed that the war not only united the Iranian state, but also dispelled long-standing accusations of sectarianism that were levelled against the Islamic republic of the broader Islamic world. “The recent conflict has proven that Iran’s attitude has transcended sectarian boundaries and united Muslims of all sects,” Hakim said.
He also pointed to Iran’s rapid recovery from the initial shock of Israeli attacks, highlighting the damage done to the regime’s air defense system and the surprising effect of Iran’s missile capabilities. “After defeats in these regions, Zionists are trying to create uncertainty within Iran,” he warned.
Hakim describes Iran as “the frontline hub of the Islamic world,” emphasizing that the security of the wider region depends on Iran’s strength in the face of Israeli invasion. “The countries in this region understand that if Iran is weakened in this conflict, the entire region will ultimately bear the costs,” he added.
