The United Nations Palestinian Refugee Agency (UNRWA) says that Jordan and Egypt have warehouses full of food, medicine and sanitary items, but are prevented from bringing them to Gaza.
“There has been confirmed hunger in Gaza City, but there is a warehouse full of food waiting to be allowed,” he said in a post from X.
“The hunger in Gaza city can be stopped. Reversing the ongoing catastrophe – flood Gaza with massive assistance through the United Nations, including unrwa. … There is enough food, medicines and sanitary supplies to fill 6,000 trucks. Israel must bring aid to Gaza.”
This comes after the Unsupported Integrated Food Security Stage Classification (IPC) confirmed “completely artificial” hunger in Gaza city and its surrounding areas, and warned of an exponential increase in deaths if the condition continues to deteriorate.
