TEHRAN – In a message on Wednesday, Islamic Revolution leader Ayatollah Seiyed Ali Khamenei warned Washington against his ongoing involvement in the Iran-Israel war, threatening serious consequences.
“A careful individual who is well versed in Iran, its country, and its history will never speak to this country in a threat, as it cannot contain the Iranian state,” he declared. “Americans must know that US military intervention is definitely irreparable harm.”
The leader’s statement followed President Donald Trump’s threat to target Ayatollah Khamenei and the potential invasion of US troops into the war to support Israel. The Tehran Times understands that all Israeli actions since Friday have received full support, coordination and cooperation from the US, but the American jets are not directly involved yet.
US analysts have confirmed that Iranian missiles could destroy American bases in the region. Tens of thousands of troops are stationed in the area. These missiles have recently demonstrated accuracy and destructive strikes in occupied Palestinian territory.
Analysts have told the Tehran Times that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s failed target to attack Iran has demanded Trump “save him” from the crisis.
